Prior to Reed Meadow being turned over to the village allotments, the History Society commissioned a geophysical survey of the field.
During this exercise a number of artefacts were unearthed from the site. These have been examined by experts and a report on the nature of the vends has been prepared.
This page will be added to in due course but in the meantime the following images show some of the artefacts that were discovered.
The items featured below were bought along to one of our Big History Days by local residents who unearthed them in and around the village. Detailed description of the items will be added soon.
